Welcome to the USS Fearless is a Defiant Class Starship in Task Force 44 and is assigned to StarFleet's Criminal Investigation Service (SFCIS).

Unlike regular Star Fleet Secuity, the SFCIS has its own planetary units, and starships that are under the command of the Director who is based at Star Fleet Command on Earth.

The SFCIS uses specialist police, and intelligence training to investigate criminal activities and apprehend suspects and fugitives within the Federation Borders.

USS Fearless' mission is to patrol Federation borders and escort prisoners to correction centers found throughout Federation space. The S.F.C.I.S. is similar to 20th and 21st century Navy Seals/Secret Service.

The Fearless goes in and gets the job done; if a captain turns renegade, or a ship is commandeered, it is the Fearless' obligation to pursue and bring in the suspect(s).
